White Sox receive outfielder Ryan Cordell in trade with Brewers
The Chicago White Sox are receiving minor league outfielder Ryan Cordell in a trade with the Milwaukee Brewers, according to CSN Chicago's Dan Hayes.
In exchange for reliever Anthony Swarzak, the White Sox get Cordell, a lanky 6'4" center fielder. At 25 years old, he has yet to make an appearance in the big leagues and has most recently played at Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Standing 6'4", Cordell has racked up 10 homers and 45 RBI with a .366 wOBA in 292 plate appearances at Triple-A this season.
