New York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto is not starting on Tuesday versus the San Diego Padres.
Curtis Granderson is starting in center field and leading off versus Padres right-hander Kyle Lloyd, so Conforto will take a maintenance day. He's slashing .293/.404/.578 with 19 dingers, 52 RBI, and 55 runs scored in 324 plate appearances (81 games) this season.
numberFire's models project Conforto to record a .267 batting average with 10 homers, 32 RBI, and 31 runs scored in 224 plate appearances for the remainder of the year.
