Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers is making his major league debut Tuesday night against the Seattle Mariners.
What It Means:
The Red Sox called up Devers on Monday, but he sat out in favor of Brock Holt against lefty James Paxton. However, with right-hander Felix Hernandez on the hill Tuesday for the Mariners, Devers will start at third base in his big league debut, and hit in the ninth spot.
