Arizona Diamondbacks utility player Daniel Descalso is not starting on Tuesday versus the Atlanta Braves.
Descalso got the nod at second base on Monday, but he'll be replaced tonight by Brandon Drury, who is batting seventh versus Braves right-hander Mike Foltynewicz.
Descalso is slashing .245/.353/.408 with 6 home runs and 35 RBI in 232 plate appearances (79 games) this season. numberFire's models project him to record a .248 batting average with 4 homers and 17 RBI in 144 remaining plate appearances this year.
