Andrew Benintendi is a late add to the Red Sox Monday lineup
Boston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi has been added to the lineup Monday versus the Seattle Mariners.
Shortstop Xander Bogaerts was feeling under the weather and was scratched on Monday forcing the Red Sox to add Benintendi to the lineup. He will play in left field as Brock Holt shifts to third base, and Deven Marrero fills in for Bogaerts at shortstop.
The Red Sox own the fourth-lowest implied run total (3.65) of the night as they face southpaw James Paxton, making Benintendi a risky play versus the Mariners.
