Braves trade Anthony Recker to the Twins
Atlanta Braves catcher Anthony Recker has been traded to the Minnesota Twins along with pitcher Jaime Garcia and cash considerations in exchange for pitching prospect Huascar Ynoa.
Recker, who served as the Braves third catcher, will likely fill a similar role for the Twins. He could be optioned down to Triple-A after his arrival as well.
Recker has had just 7 at-bats this season and owns a career batting average of .199 in 630 plate appearances across 7 seasons.
