Jaycob Brugman out of Athletics' lineup against Toronto
Oakland Athletics outfielder Jaycob Brugman is not starting on Monday versus the Toronto Blue Jays.
What It Means:
Brugman will get a breather after two consecutive starts, but he's been seeing regular playing time for Oakland since being called up from Triple-A Nashville in June. The 25-year-old outfielder is slashing .255/.341/.318 across 126 big league appearances (35 games) this season. Rajai Davis will start in center field and lead off the order for the Athletics on Monday versus left-hander Francisco Liriano and the Blue Jays.
