Yolmer Sanchez not in lineup as White Sox visit Cubs
Chicago White Sox infielder Yolmer Sanchez is not starting on Monday versus the Chicago Cubs.
The White Sox are without a designated hitter under National League rules, so Jose Abreu will start at first base while Matt Davidson handles the hot corner, leaving Sanchez as the odd man out on Monday afternoon. The 25-year-old multi-position player is slashing .259/.318/.383 with 36 runs scored and 7 steals in 82 games this season.
numberFire's models project Sanchez to turn in a .255 batting average with another 21 runs scored and 3 steals in 203 more plate appearances over the rest of the year.
