Chicago's Melky Cabrera exits Sunday with bruised foot
Chicago White Sox outfielder Melky Cabrera departed Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals with a bruised left foot.
Cabrera fouled a ball off his foot and initially stayed in the game, however, he was later removed. He should undergo some testing and we should have more information by the time the game is over Sunday, or by Monday morning.
Assuming he is just day-to-day, our models project Cabrera to post a .295 batting average, with 6 home runs, 31 RBI, and 27 runs scored over 242 plate appearances remaining this season.
