Atlanta Braves second baseman Brandon Phillips is starting on Sunday versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Phillips will start at second base and hit second versus Dodgers ace right-hander Clayton Kershaw after he missed the past two contests due to a tweaked hamstring. Johan Camargo will slide over to shortstop while Dansby Swanson takes a seat on the Braves' bench.
The Braves have the lowest implied total (2.64 runs) on Sunday's full 15-game slate and Kershaw (31.3 strikeout percentage this season) is someone you typically want to avoid, but numberFire's models believe Phillips could make for a decent contrarian play, as we project him to score 9.7 FanDuel points at a cost of only $2,400 versus the Dodgers.
