Pirates place Gregory Polanco (hamstring) on 10-day DL
The Pittsburgh Pirates placed outfielder Gregory Polanco on the club's 10-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring.
Polanco left Saturday's game in the fourth inning with hamstring discomfort. He will be out Saturday night, leaving John Jaso to start in right field against the Colorado Rockies.
Through 80 games, Polanco has accounted for 9 home runs, 29 RBI and a .269 average in 315 plate appearances.
