Erick Aybar (foot) headed to DL, sitting on Saturday for Padres
San Diego Padres infielder Erick Aybar has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left foot contusion.
What It Means:
The injury occurred when Aybar fouled a ball off of his foot on Friday. Allen Cordoba will start in his place Saturday and likely get more starts in the immediate future.
When healthy, we project Aybar for 2 home runs, 18 RBI and a .242 for the remainder of the season.
