Daniel Descalso batting fifth on Friday for Diamondbacks
Arizona Diamondbacks utility player Daniel Descalso is hitting fifth against the Washington Nationals on Friday night.
Descalso will move back down in the order after leading things off for Arizona on Thursday. He's starting in left field again and batting fifth versus Nationals ace right-hander Max Scherzer. David Peralta is the Diamondbacks' leadoff man for tonight's series opener.
Scherzer owns a stout 35.7 strikeout percentage this season, so he's someone to avoid when possible, especially with the Diamondbacks only having an implied total of 3.88 runs on Friday night. numberFire's models project Descalso to score just 7.6 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,800 versus Washington.
