Alex Avila starting at catcher on Friday for Detroit
Detroit Tigers catcher Detroit Tigers Alex Avila is back in the starting lineup for Friday's matchup with the Minnesota Twins.
What It Means:
After an off day Thursday, Avila will be back catching and hitting second for the Tigers against righty Ervin Santana. James McCann will return to the Detroit bench tonight.
