Teams showing interest in Toronto's Jose Bautista
The Toronto Blue Jays have "gotten some feelers" from teams about Jose Bautista, per Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.
Bautista does have the ability to veto any trade if he wishes, and the 36-year-old has a huge contract attached to him while he has been struggling this season. It likely won't take an especially aggressive offer to entice the Blue Jays into a deal.
Bautista is slashing only .227/.340/.402 with a .323 wOBA through 95 games in 2017. numberFire's models project him to bat .239 and add 9 home runs and 31 RBI in 262 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
