Giants' Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) back in lineup on Thursday
San Francisco Giants infielder Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) is making his return to the starting lineup on Thursday against the San Diego Padres.
Nunez missed Wednesday's start with hamstring tightness, but he did single in a pinch-hit effort later in the game. His hamstring issues have been off-and-on since June so Wednesday was probably more-or-less a maintenance day for the 30-year-old. In his return, Nunez will man third and hit second against Jhoulys Chacin. Conor Gillaspie heads back to the San Francisco bench.
Through 70 games, Nunez has 4 home runs and a .326 wOBA on the year. Listed at $3,100 tonight, he's projected for 8.8 FanDuel points.
