James Adduci back to Tigers' bench on Thursday
Detroit Tigers outfielder Jim Adduci is not in Thursday's starting lineup versus the Kansas City Royals.
Adduci went 0-for-2 on Wednesday in his first start since being called up from Triple-A Toledo, but he'll head back to the bench for tonight's series finale. Andrew Romine is starting in right field and batting eighth versus Royals left-hander Danny Duffy.
Adduci isn't much of a fantasy option due to the limited playing time, but he is slashing .304/.373/.478 with 4 doubles, 2 triples, and 7 RBI in 14 games in the majors this season. numberFire's models project him to turn in a .262 batting average in 69 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
