Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Brandon Drury is not starting on Thursday versus the Cincinnati Reds.
With Drury out, Chris Owings will start at second base while Ketel Marte steps in at shortstop. They will hit sixth and seventh, respectively, versus Reds right-hander Luis Castillo.
Drury is slashing .278/.329/.447 with 8 home runs and 41 RBI in 83 games this season. numberFire's models project him to turn in a .279 batting average with 6 homers and 26 RBI in 219 more plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
