Xander Bogaerts returns to the lineup for Boston
Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts is back in the lineup against the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursdays.
Andrew Benintendi is out of the lineup today, and Chris Young will cover left field, Dustin Pedroia will serve as the designated hitter, and the infield will shuffle around to make room for Bogaerts at shortstop. He is batting sixth against Jays' lefty Francisco Liriano.
Boston's 5.13 implied total is the highest mark of the day on Thursday, but with only a .304 wOBA against lefties this year, numberFire's models have Bogaerts as a weak fantasy value this afternoon, projecting him for 9.0 FanDuel points while priced at $3,100.
