Keon Broxton on Brewers' bench versus Pittsburgh
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Keon Broxton is not starting on Thursday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Brett Phillips will draw the start in center field and bat seventh versus Pirates right-hander Jameson Taillon. It's likely just a breather for Broxton, who is batting .220/.296/.433 with 17 steals in 90 games this season.
numberFire's models project Broxton to record a .232 batting average while stealing 11 more bases in 234 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
