Cincinnati Reds shortstop Zack Cozart is not starting on Thursday versus the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Jose Peraza is starting at shortstop while Cozart gets a breather after going 4-for-6 with a home run in Wednesday night's win over Arizona. He's slashing .321/.400/.566 with 11 home runs, 38 RBI, and 45 runs scored in 71 games this season.
numberFire's models project Cozart to record a .293 batting average with 8 home runs, 29 RBI, and 31 runs scored in 227 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
