New York Mets outfielder Jay Bruce is not in the lineup for Thursday's home game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
It's a routine day off for Bruce, and Curtis Granderson will take his place in right field this afternoon.
Bruce has a .361 wOBA through 87 games in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .266 and add 13 home runs and 40 RBI in 254 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
