Los Angeles Angels catcher Martin Maldonado is hitting sixth on Wednesday versus the Washington Nationals.
Maldonado moves up a couple spots after going 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's bout with the Nationals. He'll catch Angels right-hander Alex Meyer while batting out of the six-hole versus Nationals southpaw Gio Gonzalez.
