Detroit Tigers outfielder Jim Adduci is starting on Wednesday versus the Kansas City Royals.
Adduci will make his first big league appearance since May 10 after he was called up from Triple-A Toledo in wake of Tuesday's trade that sent J.D. Martinez to the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 32-year-old outfielder is starting in right field and batting seventh on Wednesday night versus Royals right-hander Jason Hammel. Alex Presley will move to center field for Detroit while Mikie Mahtook heads to the bench.
numberFire's models project Adduci to score 8.1 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,000 versus the Royals, making him an excellent value play in a game where the Tigers have one of the highest implied totals on the board at 5.02 runs.
