Yoan Moncada batting sixth for White Sox in season debut
Chicago White Sox infielder Yoan Moncada is starting on Wednesday versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Moncada will start at second base and bat sixth against Dodgers right-hander Kenta Maeda in his White Sox debut on Wednesday evening. The 22-year-old, widely seen as the top minor leaguer in all of baseball, slashed .282/.377/.447 with 12 home runs, 36 RBI, 57 runs scored, and 17 stolen bases in 80 games this season for Triple-A Charlotte. Tyler Saladino will take a seat on the bench.
The White Sox don't have an inspiring implied total in tonight's matchup at 4.30 runs, but Chicago's 1.049 park factor should provide some decent upside.
