Cleveland Indians first baseman Edwin Encarnacion is not in Wednesday's starting lineup versus the San Francisco Giants.
With five straight starts under his belt, Encarnacion will get a well-earned day of rest on Wednesday. While he takes a seat, Carlos Santana gets the start at first and will hit fifth against Matt Cain.
For the rest of 2017, our models project Encarnacion for 12 home runs, 38 RBI and a .265 average across 266 plate appearances.
