Rangers not considering Cole Hamels trade
The Texas Rangers are not considering trading starting pitcher Cole Hamels, according to FanRag Sports' Jon Heyman.
What It Means:
Previous reports indicated that the Rangers would be shopping both Hamels and Yu Darvish in this year's trade deadline market. But, for now, it looks like Darvish might be the only Texas starter up for offers.
For the rest of 2017, we project Hamels for a 3-3 record, 3.86 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 53.6 innings.
