Minnesota Twins infielder Eduardo Escobar is in the team's starting lineup for Wednesday's contest against the New York Yankees.
Escobar hasn't played since Sunday, but for the final game of their three-game set with the Yankees he'll be in the order. At third base and batting second, he'll oppose Yankees lefty Jordan Montgomery while Miguel Sano moves to first and Joe Mauer heads to the bench.
When pitted against left-handed hurlers, Escobar has hit an impressive .321/.376/.538 with 5 home runs on the season. And, with a team implied total of 4.65 runs, it's not a bad spot to target a guy that will run you just $2,800 on today's early slate.
