Rays' Tim Beckham out against Oakland
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Tim Beckham is out of the lineup against the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday.
It looks to be a routine day off for Beckham, and Brad Miller will take his spot at second base while Corey Dickerson serves as the designated hitter and Shane Peterson enters the lineup starting in left field.
Beckham has a career-best .323 wOBA through 77 games in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .248 and add 6 home runs, 4 stolen bases, 26 runs and 23 RBI in 223 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
