Stephen Vogt (knee) lands on Brewers' disabled list

The Milwaukee Brewers placed catcher Stephen Vogt on the 10-day disabled list with a left knee sprain.

What It Means:

Vogt suffered the injury in a collision at home plate on Monday night. For now, there's no timetable for his return. Jett Bandy has been recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs to back up Manny Pina, who will catch right-hander Junior Guerra tonight in his first game back from the 10-day DL.

The 32-year-old backstop is slashing .222/.291/.405 with 8 dingers in 206 plate appearances (66 games) this season. As of now, numberFire's models project Vogt to record a .239 batting average with another 2 dongs in 80 more plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
