Nori Aoki absent from Astros' starting lineup versus Mariners
Houston Astros outfielder Nori Aoki is not starting on Monday versus the Seattle Mariners.
The Astros, from left to right, will start Josh Reddick, Jake Marisnick, and George Springer in the outfield for Monday's series opener against southpaw Ariel Miranda and the Mariners. Aoki went 2-for-3 with a two-run double in Sunday's victory over the Twins, giving him a .271/.322/.343 slash with 21 runs scored and 5 steals this season in 200 plate appearances (60 games).
numberFire's models project Aoki to record a .276 batting average in 161 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
