New York Mets leftfielder Michael Conforto is getting the start in Monday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
With Conforto, a lefty, getting the nod, Michael Cuddyer is relegated to the bench. Conforto, a top hitting prospect, hasn't started a game since August 27.
Since being called up in late July, Conforto owns a .275/.372/.488 slash line. It's a small sample size, but Conforto owns a .379 wOBA in 88 plate appearances against righties. He'll see right-handed Jerad Eickhoff Monday.
