Cardinals' Kolten Wong (triceps) activated from DL, starting Friday
The St. Louis Cardinals have activated second baseman Kolten Wong (triceps) from the 10-day DL and have him in the lineup Friday night.
Wong missed exactly a month with a strained right triceps but is back at second base Friday, batting seventh versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Matt Carpenter shifts from second to first base while Luke Voit takes a seat on the bench.
Wong has struggled versus Pirates' starter Gerrit Cole, going 4-for-28 (.143) in his career. Combine that with the Cards' 3.84 implied run total, and the second baseman makes for a risky play in DFS on Friday night
