Nationals put Joe Ross (triceps) on disabled list
The Washington Nationals placed starting pitcher Joe Ross on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to June 10, with a right triceps strain.
Ross has been bothered by a triceps injury, which forced him from his last start. There has been no word on how long he could spend on the DL, but A.J. Ross could be a candidate to replace him in the Nats' rotation.
Our models projected Ross for a 4.95 ERA and 1.39 WHIP, with 23 strikeouts over 30.9 innings remaining this season.
