Giants' Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) still on track to return on Friday
San Francisco Giants third baseman/outfielder Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) is expected to return Friday against the San Diego Padres.
Nunez has been out since mid-June with the hamstring injury and with the Giants going nowhere in this odd-numbered year, they took their time bringing back Nunez. However, the veteran should be back in the lineup on Friday as the Giants start the second half. Check back for confirmation Friday evening.
Our models project Nunez to post a .290 average, with 4 home runs, 21 RBI, and 10 stolen bases over 231 plate appearances remaining this season.
