Pirates all but rule out Jung Ho Kang returning this season
Pittsburgh Pirates general manager Neal Huntington said you can "pretty much eliminate the thought" of infielder Jung Ho Kang returning this season.
"As far as 2018, we still remain optimistic that we'll go through the process again this offseason, and perhaps the thought process or the environment will change. But we have to face the reality that it might not.†Kang is still waiting to obtain his visa following a third DUI arrest this past winter, but it sounds like the 30-year-old infielder may have played his last game for the Pirates.
Kang slashed .273/.355./483 with 36 home runs and 120 RBI over two seasons (229 games) with the Pirates.
