Mariners' Robinson Cano hits go-ahead homer, wins All-Star MVP

Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano hit a go-ahead home run in the top of the 10th inning to lead the American League to a 2-1 win in Tuesday night's All-Star Game.

What It Means:

Cano cranked the home run off Chicago Cubs closer Wade Davis and was rewarded with MVP honors for his clutch hit. He was 1-for-2 in the game after entering in the seventh frame.

At an exit velocity of 105.6 miles per hour, Cano's bomb marked the second hardest-hit ball against Davis this season. At a launch angle of 21 degrees, it left the park in four seconds and traveled 395 feet into the right field seats.
