Trio of teams inquiring about Marlins' Dee Gordon

The Los Angeles Angels, Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals have inquired about Miami Marlins second baseman Dee Gordon, according to FanRag Sports' Jon Heyman.

What It Means:

Now 10 1/2 games back of the Washington Nationals in the NL East, the Marlins are definitely in sell mode. Gordon, owed $37.9 million over the last four-plus years of his contract, is a prime candidate to be moved.

In 85 games, the 29-year-old has tallied 18 RBI, 53 runs and 32 stolen bases in 2017. Our numbers project him for 2 home runs, 19 RBI, 38 runs and 19 stolen bases across 297 plate appearances the rest of the year.
