Jason Kipnis (hamstring) kept out by Cleveland on Sunday
Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis (hamstring) is not in Sunday's starting lineup.
Kipnis (hamstring) came up limping after trying to run out a grounder on Saturday, so Cleveland will be extra cautious with him and hold their starter out of the first-half finale on Sunday. Erik Gonzalez starts in his place today.
Our models project Kipnis to hit .270 with 7 home runs, 33 runs, 28 RBI, and 6 stolen bases in 254 more plate appearances this year, assuming health is in order.
