Los Angeles Angels second baseman Danny Espinosa is not starting on Saturday night versus the Texas Rangers.
Espinosa is hitting just .163 in 253 plate appearances (76 games) this season, and his fantasy value is non-existent at this point. Nick Franklin will start at second base and bat ninth versus Rangers right-hander Tyson Ross.
numberFire's models expect Espinosa to pick it up a bit over the remainder of the season, but that's not really saying much. We project him to turn in a .216 batting average with 7 homers and 23 RBI in 224 plate appearances.
