Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve is not starting on Saturday against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Altuve will be replaced in the lineup by Yulieski Gurriel, who is starting at first base while Marwin Gonzalez slides over to second. It's just a routine day of rest for the 27-year-old second baseman. He's slashing a strong .342/.410/.539 with 12 home runs, 47 RBI, and 58 runs scored in 85 games this season.
numberFire's models project him to turn in a .322 batting average with 9 home runs, 38 RBI, and 47 runs scored in 307 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
