Ben Gamel drops to eighth in the batting order for Seattle
Seattle Mariners outfielder Ben Gamel has been dropped to eighth in the lineup Friday.
With the Mariners facing southpaw Sean Manaea Friday, lefty-swinging Gamel will drop from second to eighth in the batting order. Danny Valencia will move up to second versus the Oakland A's.
The Mariners have an implied run total of 4.40. Combine that with Gamel hitting eighth, and the outfielder makes for a risky play on Friday.
