St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dexter Fowler is starting against the New York Mets on Friday night after being activated from the 10-day disabled list.
Fowler has been on the shelf since June 24 due to a heel injury. He's starting in center field and batting third on Friday night against right-hander Jacob deGrom and the Mets. Tommy Pham will head to the Cardinals' bench while Jose Martinez was optioned to Triple-A Memphis in a corresponding roster move.
numberFire's models project Fowler for 10.3 FanDuel points at an affordable $2,700 on FanDuel tonight, but his upside may be limited by a low implied total (3.85), as well as an uninviting over/under (7.5) and park factor (0.972). On top of that, deGrom owns an imposing 29.0 strikeout percentage this season.
