St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Stephen Piscotty is starting on Friday against the New York Mets.
Piscotty will start in right field and bat second versus right-hander Jacob deGrom and the Mets after he was held out of the lineup on Thursday. Jose Martinez, who started in the outfield the past two games for St. Louis, was optioned to Triple-A Memphis on Friday.
numberFire's models project Piscotty to score 9.6 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,800 tonight, but his upside is limited by a low implied total (3.85), as well as an uninviting over/under (7.5) and park factor (0.972). On top of that, deGrom owns an imposing 29.0 strikeout percentage this season.
