Los Angeles first baseman C.J. Cron is in Friday's starting lineup against the Texas Rangers.
Cron was re-called from Triple-A Salt Lake earlier today and will start his first game back in the bigs. He will replace Luis Valbuena at firt base and hit seventh against Cole Hamels.
In 129 plate appearances with the Angels, Cron has 2 home runs and a .249 wOBA on the year. Coming in at $2,400, Cron could be a value play on an Angels team implied at 4.62 runs this evening.
