Pirates starting Max Moroff on Thursday night
Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Max Moroff is in the starting lineup on Thursday versus the Philadelphia Phillies.
Moroff will start at shortstop and bat eighth on Thursday against right-hander Jeremy Hellickson and the Phillies. The 24-year-old rookie is a poor 4-for-39 (.103) in 18 games this season. Jordy Mercer is just getting a breather.
There are likely better options available than Moroff on Thursday, as numberFire's metrics project him for only 5.6 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,000 versus the Phillies.
