Cardinals move Luke Voit down a couple spots on Thursday
St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Luke Voit will bat sixth on Thursday versus the Miami Marlins.
Voit bat cleanup for the Cardinals the past two games, but he managed just a 1-for-8 line with two strikeouts and a walk. He'll start at first base and bat sixth on Thursday afternoon versus Marlins right-hander Tom Koehler. Jedd Gyorko is back in the four-hole for the Cardinals after being out of the lineup for the past two games with a mild groin strain.
The Cardinals own one of the highest implied totals of the day (5.16 runs), so they have a lineup worth targeting for fantasy purposes. numberFire's models project Voit to score 8.1 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,300, making him one of the best values play available on Thursday.
