Los Angeles Angels catcher Martin Maldonado is starting on Wednesday against the Minnesota Twins.
Maldonado will catch Angels right-hander Parker Bridwell while batting eighth versus Twins righty Ervin Santana. Juan Graterol is back on the bench after getting the start on Independence Day.
