Orioles' Zach Britton (forearm) set to be activated Wednesday

Baltimore Orioles relief pitcher Zach Britton is on track to return Wednesday from the 60-day disabled list, according to MASN Sports' Roch Kubatko.

What It Means:

Britton suffered a strain of his left forearm at the beginning of May and has been on the recovery or going through a rehab assignment since. Ryan Flaherty will likely be the corresponding move to make room for Britton as he eases his way back into relief duties and a possible closing role.

In his stead, Brad Brach has accounted for 15 saves and a 3.51 FIP. Our algorithms project Britton for 6 saves and a 3.91 ERA in 13.8 innings the rest of the way.
