Seattle Mariners pitcher Andrew Moore has been recalled from Triple-A and will start Monday versus the Kansas City Royals.
Moore pitched well in his previous start for the Mariners this season but was sent down to the minors as the club didn't need a fifth starter for a couple of weeks. The 23-year-old rookie is expected to stick in the rotation for a while.
Our models project Moore for 5 2/3 innings, 4.0 strikeouts, and 2.7 runs allowed for 25.4 FanDuel points on Monday. He is our top points-to-dollars value pitcher (4.61) in the nighttime slate.
